Chimaltenango
Jeg skal arbejde i en by som hedder Chimaltenango. Kun en enkelt guidebog nævner byen og det er ikke på grund af det hyggelige by miljø! The Rough Guide to Guatemala skriver således:
Grimy Chimaltenango’s main focal point is the Carretera Interamericana, which cuts through the southern side of the town, bringing with it an endless flow of trucks and buses. The town extracts what little business it can from this stream of traffic, and the roadside is crowded with cheap comedores, mechanics’ workshops and sleazy bars. There’s absolutely no reason to hang around here - especially with Antigua so near - and you should take care with your bags if you are changig buses as pickpockets have been known to target disorientated travellers.
